Daniel Waters commenced his insurance career in 2001 with a global property and casualty insurer and held senior underwriting management positions in Australia, United States and South East Asia. He transitioned to the risk consulting and insurance broking side of the industry in 2009 and has represented mid-sized to large Australian and multi-national companies with a specific focus on financial lines and casualty classes in a wide range of sectors including professional and financial services, property, construction, engineering, resources, information technology and start up organisations. Daniel has extensive experience advising clients on risks around director liabilities, securities class actions, fraud and cyber liability exposures and professional liability disputes and litigation both domestically and internationally.
